    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
    • Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
    • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
    • Document all required clinical information accurately in the electronic documentation system, including treatment minutes, per regulatory and company requirements.
    • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, and required facility trainings and in-services.
    • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
    • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience.
    • Experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting.
    • Adherence to APTA standards, state practice acts, code of conduct, and professional ethics.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Familiarity with Medicare A, Medicare B, and Managed Care treatment protocols.
    • Experience utilizing electronic documentation systems for clinical recordkeeping.
    • Experience supervising or supporting therapy students in a clinical setting.
