Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates and clinical findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or demonstrated ability to obtain licensure
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services
