Clinicians are supported by purpose-built AI documentation technology that helps generate compliant clinical notes in real time, reducing administrative burden and allowing greater focus on patient care. Treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions including but not limited to ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, disc herniation, total joint replacement, plantar fasciitis, and generalized low back pain.
Deliver direct patient care to adult orthopedic patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, conducting daily treatment visits scheduled in 30-minute intervals
Treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions including but not limited to ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, disc herniation, total joint replacement, plantar fasciitis, and generalized low back pain
Support a caseload of approximately 55 patient visits per week within a small outpatient clinic setting
Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner using the NextGen documentation system, supported by AI-assisted documentation tools
Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland or eligibility to obtain licensure
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a PTA; new graduates will not be considered
Experience in general orthopedics
Ability to manage a structured outpatient caseload independently under PT supervision
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses including post-operative and non-surgical cases across upper and lower extremity conditions
Familiarity with NextGen or similar electronic medical record (EMR) documentation platforms
Comfort working in a small, collaborative outpatient clinic environment
