    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a permanent, full-time position. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services designed to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.

    The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care while working collaboratively with Physical Therapists and other members of the healthcare team.

    Responsibilities
    • Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
    • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions
    • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
    • Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, endurance, balance, and functional independence
    • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
    • Participate in care planning and assist with discharge planning as appropriate
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
    • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting established rehabilitation goals
    Requirements
    • Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
    • Required: Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice
    • Previous clinical experience preferred
    • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist
