Key Responsibilities
Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility compliance standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
Ability to follow established treatment plans and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
Strong communication and documentation skills
