Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
