    Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient Rehabilitation

    Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | 40 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver physical therapy assistant services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting serving adult and geriatric populations
    • Treat patients recovering from conditions including CVA, amputation, and orthopedic injuries under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
    • Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including standard rehab devices, Ekso NR, and REAL VR systems
    • Maintain a patient caseload at a 6:1 patient-to-therapist ratio within a 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
    • Document patient care accurately using UDS ProDoc electronic health record system
    • Participate in a structured rehabilitation program designed to support patient recovery and return to daily living activities
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or certification in good standing
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with adult populations
    • Experience working in an inpatient or acute rehabilitation environment
    • Ability to work a day shift schedule with no on-call requirements
    • No float requirements for this position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in orthopedic or neurological rehabilitation settings
    • Familiarity with neuro-CVA patient populations and treatment protocols
    • Prior experience with advanced rehabilitation technology or robotic-assisted therapy equipment
