Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 30-hour weekly guarantee throughout the contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous contract or travel therapy experience
- Experience working in a variety of clinical or rehabilitation settings
