Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a contract or travel therapy role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
