Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist, interdisciplinary team members, and patients regarding care and progress

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift in an onsite skilled nursing facility environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
