Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions as directed
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional activities
Required Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to begin assignment as soon as possible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to rotating shift schedules and new clinical environments
