Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established treatment plans and adjust interventions based on patient progress and clinical findings
• Document patient care activities, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient rehabilitation goals
• Float to multiple care locations as assigned to meet staffing and patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Alabama
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule with one weekend rotation per month
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple facility locations as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
• Experience working in a float or multi-site capacity
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
