Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
- Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Connecticut
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Expected 30 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
