Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to residents to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
• Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment in compliance with skilled nursing facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Ohio
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to work day shift in an onsite skilled nursing facility setting
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements and skilled nursing regulations
• Experience treating a geriatric patient population
