Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and assist patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate patient progress and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
- Prior experience in an outpatient or relevant physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a permanent state license for the assignment location
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and therapy-specific software
