    Contract, Full-Time (40 hours/week), Days, Flexible Schedule, Outpatient Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions, utilizing clinical reasoning to progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required for patient care
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in good standing in the state of California
    • Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required — new graduates will not be considered
    • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation, including progress notes, goal writing, and letters of medical necessity
    • Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience participating in clinical student programs, including supervision and evaluation of students
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and organizational quality initiatives
    • Active involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations
