Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services on an inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Float to the medical/surgical unit on an as-needed basis
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT, OT, COTA, and SLP professionals
- Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend and holiday coverage as required during the contract period
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or certification
- Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting
- Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working on a medical/surgical unit
- Comfort working within a multidisciplinary therapy team environment
