Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established patient care plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Support patient education efforts and provide guidance on home exercise programs as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent Indiana licensure must be obtained promptly
- Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Completion of all required credentialing documentation prior to assignment start
- Must not have worked at this facility in a permanent or PRN capacity within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy experience in an outpatient setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific workflows and protocols
