Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient therapy setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and progress
- Adhere to all facility policies, dress code, and compliance standards as outlined during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; must obtain permanent Texas licensure promptly if using a compact license at start
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Ability to complete facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
- Must have been separated from any previous employment at this facility for at least one year to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract assignment experience in an outpatient therapy environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific systems and workflows
