    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
    • Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
    • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
    • Document all required clinical information in the electronic documentation system and accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other required facility and company meetings or trainings.
    • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience (not solely Level I observation) will be considered.
    • Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required.
    • Adherence to APTA standards, state practice acts, code of conduct, and professional ethics.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience supervising or supporting PTA students in a clinical setting.
    • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems used in rehabilitation or long term care environments.
