Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized patient treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility requirements
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and functional goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Oregon (permanent state license required)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet facility credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to start
- Must not have worked at this facility in a permanent or PRN capacity within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract assignment experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Familiarity with outpatient physical therapy documentation and workflows
