    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy treatments to patients in accordance with the plan of care established by a registered Physical Therapist, using physical means such as exercise, massage, heat, water, light, and electricity to relieve pain and restore function.
    • Direct and assist patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, activities of daily living, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
    • Operate therapeutic equipment including ultra-violet and infrared lamps, low voltage generators, diathermy, and ultrasonic machines.
    • Observe, record, and report patient reactions to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising registered Physical Therapist.
    • Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and appropriate home activities.
    • Complete and submit accurate clinical notes and required documentation in a timely manner in accordance with agency standards.
    Required Qualifications
    • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies.
    • Active PTA licensure in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
    • Valid Driver's License and agency-level auto insurance.
    • Ability to work under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist in compliance with state practice guidelines.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a home health or rehabilitation setting.
    • Familiarity with electronic clinical documentation systems.
