Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Long Term Care

Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care
- Monitor and record patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Deliver care within a Long Term Care setting, supporting the functional and rehabilitative needs of patients
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (required)
- Active Texas state license or a compact license valid for practice in Texas (required)
- Demonstrated ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a Long Term Care (LTC) environment
- Familiarity with documentation and progress reporting standards in a rehabilitation setting
