Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain compliance with facility-specific documentation and credentialing requirements prior to assignment start
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting required
- Must be able to fulfill contract-specific credentialing and quality assurance requirements before start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient or clinic-based physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
