Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Connecticut or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract assignment experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and compliance requirements
