Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training
Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements including wearing a photo badge and presenting valid identification at all times
Required Qualifications
Active state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
Ability to meet facility compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or similar clinical setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
