Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services across Medical Surgical and Outpatient settings
- Float between Med Surg and Outpatient Therapy units as needed to support patient care demands
- Implement treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and functional goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Kansas or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Ability to float between Medical Surgical and Outpatient units as required
- Must meet travel assignment eligibility requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in both inpatient Medical Surgical and Outpatient therapy environments
- Familiarity with Epic EMR documentation
- Adaptability to flexible scheduling within a Monday–Friday daytime framework
