Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Flexible)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services across Med/Surg and Outpatient settings
- Implement treatment plans established by supervising Physical Therapists for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Float between Med/Surg and Outpatient services as needed to meet facility demands
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately within the facility's EMR system (Epic)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Kansas or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a PTA
- Experience working in Med/Surg and/or Outpatient therapy settings
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Epic EMR
- Ability to float between units as required by facility needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience
- Familiarity with both inpatient Med/Surg and outpatient rehabilitation workflows
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into a new clinical environment
