Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized patient treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient rehabilitation goals
- Maintain and present valid state or federal issued photo identification at the facility at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active New Mexico PTA license required
- Agency must hold an active New Mexico Caregivers Account to be eligible for placement
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required on-site at all times
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a high-need or underserved community setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
