Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, including wearing a photo identification badge at all times while on site
- Present a valid state or federal issued photo identification upon arrival at the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Ability to fulfill a 15-week contract assignment
- Must provide a valid state or federal issued photo identification prior to beginning work
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy role
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and patient populations
