Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in the assessment of patient functional abilities and contribute to goal-setting and care planning
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home programs as directed by the supervising PT
Required Qualifications
- Active PTA license in the state of New Jersey (or eligibility)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
