Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans in an outpatient setting
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week of clinical productivity
- Carry and present valid state or federal issued photo identification at the facility at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of West Virginia
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid state or federal issued photo ID required on-site at all times
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a supervised clinical structure
