Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, including wearing a photo ID badge at all times while on site
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maine
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
- Ability to fulfill a 20-week contract commitment
- Availability to work day shifts across a flexible weekly schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a facility-based or clinical setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
