Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment
- Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a rehab setting
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services
