Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting required
- Must meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
- Permanent Alaska state licensure required; compact license may be accepted temporarily but permanent licensure must be obtained promptly
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records
