Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate patient status and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington or ability to obtain prior to start
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
