Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic interventions to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with the supervising PT, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and goals
Support patient and family education related to home exercise programs and functional mobility
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Oklahoma
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Expected 35 hours per week availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
Familiarity with geriatric patient populations and restorative therapy techniques
Strong documentation and communication skills
