Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and credentialing standards
- Maintain an active caseload within the outpatient setting, adhering to established care protocols
- Participate in Saturday clinic hours as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required — compact license accepted at start, but permanent Texas state licensure must be obtained promptly
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting required
- Must meet contract credentialing and QA requirements prior to assignment start
- Candidates who have worked permanently or PRN at this facility within the past year are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract assignment experience as a PTA
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with outpatient EMR systems
