Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient care and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Georgia
- Permanent state licensure required; compact license alone is not sufficient for this position
- Prior experience in an outpatient or relevant physical therapy setting
- Ability to complete facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a high-volume outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
