Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement and carry out established treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and therapy goals
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and outcomes
- Must present a valid state or federal issued photo identification upon arrival to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times while on site
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Experience with geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
