Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's individualized care plan
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately following each treatment session
• Report treatment results and patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to support meaningful rehabilitation goals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (required)
• Active Texas state PTA license or compact license (required)
• Ability to work within a long-term care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Experience developing and following personalized patient care plans
