Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and work within a structured plan of care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
- Compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility regulations and guidelines
