Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and progress
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation or sports therapy setting
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
