Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional training
Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
Current CPR/BLS certification
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior clinical experience as a PTA in a relevant care setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
