    Key Responsibilities
    • Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
    • Deliver all treatment in accordance with an established plan of care as delegated and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist
    • Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy-related activities
    • Monitor and document patient response to treatment interventions
    • Complete required forms and documentation in compliance with company policy and state/federal regulations
    Required Qualifications
    • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
    • Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
    • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Post-graduate experience in a skilled nursing facility setting
    • Demonstrated empathy and patience when working with diverse patient populations
    • Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions from a supervising licensed Physical Therapist
