Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting required
- Must meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
- Must obtain a permanent state license; compact licensure may be accepted at start but permanent licensure must be obtained promptly
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records
