Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Varying Shifts: Monday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Tuesday 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Thursday 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy treatment to outpatient rehabilitation patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established goals and physician orders
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience
- Active PTA license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Ability to work a rotating weekly schedule including morning and evening shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient hospital rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal patient populations
