Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehab setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients and care teams
