Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement patient care plans as directed and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Oregon (permanent license required)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
- Must not have worked at this facility in a permanent or PRN capacity within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
