Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized patient care plans in alignment with Physical Therapist-established goals
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (Required)
- Active Texas PTA license or compact license (Required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Long Term Care or skilled nursing environment
- Familiarity with creating and following personalized rehabilitative care plans
