Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and functional training to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and proper techniques
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Georgia
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule of 8-hour shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and clinical staff
